Data Centres are truly unique structures that are engineering marvels. Data is the life blood of many large corporations and uninterrupted data flow is critical to the existence of major corporations, governments and banks. These structures are built to withstand most any natural disaster with emergency power generation, fire prevention, storm resistance and security protocols second to none.
Tim Jacobs, photographer has had the privilege of photographing 2 data centres as they were being built along with installation details as they were completed. These aerials are only a few out-takes from these projects that extended over 2 years.
